Utraan Story: the connection of a college-going couple turns to shambles when the girl’s father, a cop, nabs her lover during a fabricated case.
Utraan Review: Utraan begins with two college students, a man and a woman , falling crazy at a men’s college. The girl’s father, a cop, tries to separate them with the assistance of a dreaded goon.
How they protect their relationship is that the remainder of the story.
The already wafer-thin plot is formed worse by weak screenplay, unpleasant characters and a bizarre climax.
the amount of purposeless songs within the former half and shoddy making make it difficult to take a seat through the whole movie.
Roshan Udayakumar, who played the protagonist, does an honest job, and Madhusudhan Rao, shines because the antagonist.
“Jo chaaho woh har baar mil jaaye, toh zindagi aur khwaab mein fark kya reh jayega?” (If we get all that we wish for, then what would be the difference between life and dreams?). This dialogue from Bard of Blood holds true for those that were looking forward to the show, which promised cutting-edge action drama.
Bard Of Blood’ Review: Netflix Delivers the most important Letdown Of The Year
Not even the impressive shoot-outs are enough to redeem this clunker of an espionage drama involving Indian and Pakistani intelligence operatives, the Taliban and campaigners for Balochi independence.
Cross-border terrorism, Indian and Pakistani intelligence, the Taliban, Balochistan’s liberation movement, an off-the-book rescue mission and Shakespeare references… Bard of Blood had all the makings of an Indian espionage thriller for the ages. A high-profile collaboration between Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment, the show was one among the foremost anticipated web series of the year. But in their ambitious plan to treat the audience to Hollywood grade action, the manufacturers have neglected something much more important, the script.
The story begins with four Indian agents in Balochistan getting captured by Talibs. The Taliban chief Mullah Khalid (Danish Hussain) is close to have them executed when Tanveer Shehzad (Jaideep Ahlawat), the Taliban handler of the ISA (fictional equivalent of the ISI), intervenes and convinces him to spare the four men for a brief while. Shehzad apparently features a plan that might serve the greater good.
Back in New Delhi , Sadiq Shaikh (Rajit Kapoor), the operations director of the IIW (fictional equivalent of RAW), summons his old protege Kabir Anand aka Adonis (Emraan Hashmi) so as to send him to Balochistan to rescue the captured agents. Kabir may be a former spy who now teaches Shakespeare to high school kids, hence the title Bard of Blood. He’s also frequently inclined to quote Shakespeare . That’s just about the extent of Shakespeare during this show, making the association appear to be juvenile literary swagger on the writers’ part.
Kabir is handling the trauma of a botched operation in Balochistan five years ago that led to the death of his comrade and ally Vikramjeet (Sohum Shah), and is therefore hesitant to return. But a sudden change in circumstances compels him to launch an unsanctioned mission along side Isha Khanna (Sobhita Dhulipala), the Balochistan analyst for IIW. They also usher in Veer Singh (Vineet Kumar Singh), an agent in Afghanistan nearly forgotten by the agency, and together they enter Balochistan.
What ensues may be a series of directionless high-octane action sequences that appear almost independent to the plot. within the first few episodes the story hardly moves forward, with our three protagonists simply running for his or her lives. The action sequences, though shot spectacularly with gorgeous aerial shots of the landscape, are unbelievable most of the time. Our trio is outnumbered by the enemy every single time, yet they manage to flee without much harm. During the climax, a flowery motorcycle materialises within the middle of nowhere for Kabir to ride.
The makers of the show have visibly drawn from Hollywood. A combat scene during a public bathroom reminds one among an identical episode in Mission Impossible: Fallout. Mullah Khalid, the Taliban chief, is portrayed a paedophile, a feature evidently borrowed from The Kite Runner. Yet, the show is riddled with Bollywood cliches. The Talibs and Balochis have generous amounts of kohl in their eyes. There’s a romantic angle that’s wholly unnecessary. and therefore the hero decides to kill the person together with his bare hands (and suffer few blows in return) when he could have shot him point blank.
Some aspects of the story just don’t add up. Kabir hatches an idea to urge himself kidnapped so as to satisfy an old acquaintance, when he could have just knocked on his door. Veer Singh has spent years shuttling between Afghanistan and Balochistan and has successfully infiltrated a Taliban group, yet he's shown to be incompetent on variety of occasions (Kabir calls him the weak link within the team). Isha has no experience on the sector and displays hesitation in killing a person early . But because the show progresses, she wields an AK-47 effortlessly and kills enemies by the dozen. Jannat Marri (Kirti Kulhari), who is Balochistan Azad Force (BAF) leader Nusrat Marri’s (Abhishekh Khan) sister, speaks Hindi flawlessly while the remainder of the Balochis (including her family members) converse either in Pashto or heavily accented Hindi.
The entire cast puts during a decent performance, a consolation for the below-par script. Emraan Hashmi does well as Kabir Anand, albeit his character is so arrogant that his painful backstory fails to elicit much sympathy. Vineet Kumar Singh is wonderful because the under-appreciated Veer. The brilliant Sobhita Dhulipala is very underused. Her character is usually at the mercy of her two male colleagues, and is time and again subject to misogynistic barbs. Kirti Kulhari, meanwhile, features a more powerful role and does justice because the young matriarch of the Marri family, flag-bearers of Balochistan’s liberation movement. Jaideep Ahlawat is terrific because the cunning and ever-scheming Pakistani intelligence operative, Tanveer Shehzad.
The cliffhanger ending within the last episode indicated that season two is on the cards. we will only hope that the manufacturers will pull up their socks and redeem themselves the second time around.
Review : Oh Baby – Emotionally Entertaining Tamil Movie Review
Release date : July 05, 2019
Starring : Samantha, Naga Shourya, Lakshmi, Rao Ramesh, Rajendra Prasad, Teja Sajja Director : BV Nandini Reddy Producers : Suresh Babu, Sunitha Tati, TG Vishwa Prasad, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim Music Director : Mickey J Meyer Cinematographer : Richard Prasad Editor : Junaid Siddiqui Samantha has been promoting her latest film Oh Baby on an aggressive note from quite a while now. The film has finally made its thanks to theaters today. Let’s see how it's . Download link
Story:
Baby(Lakshmi) may be a hyper wife who runs a canteen on her own. Her dominating nature isn't liked by her daughter in law. due to alittle family feud, Baby is kicked out of the house. But strange things happen in her life and Baby gets a wish to become this girl and lead her life once more . remainder of the story is on how the new and young Baby(Samantha) makes use of this chance and enjoys her life peacefully. Plus Points: Even though the film may be a remake, the way during which Nandini Reddy has set the film in Telugu nativity is great . She has excelled in her work and Oh Baby is Nandini’s best work so far . It is very hard to place in words on what Samantha has through with Oh Baby. She owns the film completely and takes you on a ride together with her emotional, witty, and career-best performance. you'll see Samantha the actress and not the star within the film. All her scenes with Rajendra Prasad and therefore the climax with Rao Ramesh will bring tears to your eyes needless to say . Be it her dressing to her comedy timing, Sam proves that she in top form in her career immediately . One cannot imagine the film without Rajendra Prasad. he's so good as Sam’s ally and therefore the senior actor shares superb chemistry with Samantha. His expressions are hilarious within the film. the primary fifteen holds the key for the film and for this part to be set right, senior actor Lakshmi plays a serious role together with her experienced performance which sets the tempo nicely. Naga Shourya looks handsome and is neat in his supporting role. Rao Ramesh gets an emotional role and therefore the family values that are showcased through his role are just amazing and are a serious plus to the film. Child actor turned hero, Teja does an honest job in his first film. He gets a meaty role and impresses completely. Sunaina is extremely good because the nagging daughter of Rajendra Prasad. Pragati is apt in her role and evokes good emotions. the primary half the film is packed well with hilarious comedy and sensible emotions. The climax has been executed well and therefore the manner during which things are ended also looks complete.
Minus Points:
The last half of the film may be a tad slow and lenghty. The proceedings could are trimmed to form things better. The proceedings get a touch predictable within the last half because the tempo slows down and make things a touch dull here and there. Technical Aspects: The production values of the film are top notch because the film looks rich in many areas. The film features a heartwarming feel which is beautifully captured by the cameraman. Editing is simply about okay as ten minutes could are chopped off. Samantha has been styled superbly then was Naga Shourya. Music by Mickey J Meyer is great but his BGM was awesome. Special credit should attend Chinmayi as her dubbing has given a special push to Sam’s performance. Coming to the director Nandini Reddy, she has done a tremendous job with the film. the way during which she showcased Samantha and narrated the film in an emotional manner with good values and clean entertainment is just too good.
Verdict:
One the entire , Oh Baby may be a heartwarming family drama which touches your heart completely. Beautiful emotions, good comedy, family values and romance, this film has it all. The film features a good connectivity factor which everyone can relate to simply . Samantha has upped her game to a different level with this film and she or he will surely pull the crowds to the theaters together with her career-best performance. Telugu cinema is actually churning out the simplest content oriented films in recent times and Oh Baby is one such film which shouldn't be missed.
The story looks exciting while reading it on paper. But, when it comes to the execution, the director needs some more expertise to handle this subject. Although the stars are good with their roles, the scenes should have been designed better to project their acting talent. The characterization is also not much impressive. The BGM is good and the visuals are okayish.
Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam is about to hit the screens today. Actor Parthiban are going to be seen on screen after an enormous break.
Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam Story Line and Plot
Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam revolves round the idea of stealing the cricket World Cup . It’s a heist comedy about five people trying to steal the Cricket World Cup during the match between India and Sri Lanka within the 2011 series. The why, when, and the way forms the crux of the film.
Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam Cast

Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam
Before you enter the theaters confirm you give rest to the reasoning department of your brain. the rationale is, it’s impossible to steal a World Cup — be it soccer or cricket. The characters within the film are nutjobs who actually believe they will pull it off. The events are handled during a way which can neither be too witty nor too dark. It’s subtle, dry wit instead.
The movie has its highs and lows. The film tries to be a Chennai 600028 or a racy comedy movie with any logical twists. However, the movie fails predominantly.
